After School Program

Preschool After-School Program

Preschool after-school care begins when school ends at 2:45 p.m. and ends at 6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. The preschool after-school program is an outdoor program, with time spent in the preschool yard and once a week at the farm. At the farm or in the preschool play yard, children engage in construction, water activities, gardening, art exploration, and messy play. The children’s play encourages gross and fine motor development as well as collaboration. Children have the freedom and space to engage in self-directed activities that are fun for them.
Elementary School After-School Program

After-school care for students in kindergarten through 6th grade is provided on the Elementary School campus. Students who are enrolled in the after-school program go immediately to after-school care from their classrooms. After-school care runs Monday through Friday until 6:00 p.m.
Middle School After-School Program

After-school care for Middle School students takes place on the Upper School campus until 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
High School After-School Program

High School students may spend the afternoon supervised on the Upper School Campus until 5:30 p.m.

The after-school program staff makes each afternoon a quality experience for the students, offering sports, games, art, and many other activities.

Enrichment Classes, Spring Break, and Summer Options

Waverly also offers after-school enrichment classes for all grades, including cooking, Band Slam, ceramics, Lego building, Robotics (for Middle and High School students), dance, and many more.

In addition to after-school care and enrichment, we offer a one week Spring Break camp (during the second week of Spring Break) a six-week preschool summer program (for current and incoming students), an eight-week summer camp for kindergarten through 6th-grade students (open to Waverly students and the general community), and options for Middle and High School students, including math review and acceleration.
